Paid Social Specialist

As a Paid Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Paid Media team, consisting of 6 members, and will report directly to the Head of Paid Media. Collaborating closely with our in-house project managers, strategy, planning, design, and development teams, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic paid social media campaigns for our clients across various sectors. With a focus on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn, you will leverage your expertise to drive engagement, generate leads, and optimise ROI for our clients’ marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive paid social media strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives and target audience across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Manage and optimise paid social media campaigns for hospitality, education, leisure, and entertainment clients, utilising platform-specific tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.
  • Report on results and write comprehensive insights based on campaign performance. 
  • Conduct audience research and segmentation to identify key demographics and interests for targeting purposes across all sectors.
  • Work with the Client Account team to recommend and scope out services and fee levels for new client campaigns and retainers.
  • Collaborate closely with in-house project managers, strategy, planning, design, and development teams to ensure seamless execution of paid social media campaigns aligned with clients’ overall digital marketing strategies.
  • The ability to juggle multiple client projects and ongoing retainer accounts in a fast paced environment.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create compelling ad creatives, copy, and landing pages optimised for conversions on various platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse key metrics, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization across all sectors.
  • A/B test ad creatives, audience targeting, and ad placements to maximise campaign effectiveness for hospitality, education, leisure, and entertainment clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Paid Social clients, confidently consulting on paid social media strategies, budgetary queries, campaign performance, optimization opportunities.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations, effectively articulating campaign results, strategic recommendations, and industry insights to Director-level clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and a customer-centric approach.


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in paid social media marketing 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Paid Social client-manager/lead role, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proven track record of managing successful paid social media campaigns across multiple sectors, including hospitality, education, leisure, and entertainment.
  • Expertise in using platform-specific advertising tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional client communication skills, with the ability to consult confidently with Director-level clients.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with experience leading client meetings and presentations.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and innovation.
  • Certifications in relevant advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook) are a plus.
