Well done to all our Igniters! We’re so excited and proud to be awarded Highly Commended in The Drum Marketing awards under the Travel & Tourism category for our Secret Gin Society campaign for Pernod Ricard & Marriott International.
The Drum is Europe’s largest media and marketing website and is fastest growing in the US and across the APAC region. They help their readers to make informed decisions by showcasing effective marketing executions whilst also promoting the people and businesses behind the best work. The Drum Marketing Awards is the largest of all Drum Awards, they recognise and celebrate exceptional marketing work across the globe.
The judging panel includes 45 top-level Marketers from some of the largest global brands and media companies. All the entries are judged on;
Secret Gin Society was a brand born to engage a younger audience and uplift gin sales within the Marriott International Hotel Bars in partnership with Pernod Ricard. The challenge? To create a brand that felt locally relevant despite being rolled out in bars all across Europe. Through careful research and initial strategy, we pushed to go beyond brand elements like the logo & create a unique name, personality & tone of voice, alongside a rich concept narrative and comprehensive photography brief, that would be applied across print, website, and any digital activations.
The impact of the results of the campaign was so significant for Marriott, that we are now launching the Secret Gin Society globally and ramping up experiential elements for 2020.
